Melissa Yue lives on the west coast of Canada and writes children's fiction with paranormal elements. Her work is informed by her experiences in the Chinese-Canadian diaspora community and her previous career in English as a Second Language education. Her debut middle grade novel, Misadventures in Ghosthunting, was published in 2024. When she's not writing, she can be found digging into local lore, strolling through gardens, and saving the neighbourhood squirrels from her dog's machinations.
